Let's go Paris Couture!

Whenever Paris Couture starts running I get giddy over fashion and the excitement of fashion weeks starts running through me. Paris Couture is what fashion dreams are made of, a traditional love and lure for craftsmanship and fine details, it’s fashion design at its very best and you can’t help but show true respect for it. The level of workmanship from the ateliers is especially inspiring. From Karl Lagerfeld’s tribute to shades of blue for Chanel, Valentino’s key to the eighteenth century’s Age of Enlightenment and “real” values to Elie Saab’s easy to digest rainbow of shiny, beautiful pink, peach, yellow, mint green and baby blue gowns.
Paris Couture shows true love to fashion “Fashion needs culture or it becomes empty” said Pier Paolo Piccioli and that’s so true. Now I’m looking forward to the ready to wear shows to begin 9 days and counting!

Mini Pre-Fall 2012

Just took a quick preview of Balmain and I can say it's very appropriate for fall.
I am very impressed with Balmain's fall 2012 collection.

What I love most about Balmain's 2012 is the choice of deep saturated color in velvet quality. Teal and rich navy were some of my favorite picks. The style corresponding with the richness very well that it  brings out the "easy attitude" for happy customer. They definitely have a valid Fall season as well as great existing quality! Good Job Balmain!

Of course in New York..in Bergdor Goodman at the Loubby main floor...drools~

Monday Blues..

It's Monday and I rarely hear anything that goes like "HEY, HAPPY MONDAY!"..in that case, I'd like to put one something subtle and clean. I'm usually in bold and bright colors. But today I would end up wearing something in white and grey. Here are some of my inspiration for Monday Blues..

Trend Reporting For Spring

For spring, alot of designers are trying to add accessory to their piece without having the piece itself to look too busy. With that, peplum has the power for this Spring 2012. Whether it's printed, ruffly big all around, lacey feminie, or just a slight pouf along the waist, it automatically give us that needed accessory to these simple piece of spring. I am so in love with #2 and wish it was in black and tons of lace and mesh!

Happy Chinese New Year!! xoxo

Today we celebrate Lunar New Year and the year of a Dragon. Very excited with all the festivities that will be taking place for this week. I picked my wardrobe and visit the biggest temple in the southern Cali.

Wearing chiffon blouse with printed hearts and a Jade green wrapped skirt inspired by this photo next to it for a lot cheaper price.

Here is the wishful tree for Chinese New Year.

A gift from my styling partner. I can never go wrong this bible. Vogue in Paris!!!

Hi guys!
I finally had the opportunity to sit down and just type away. A couple posts before that, I have mentioned that I will post about this interesting fashion icon from Japan. Well, this is the time. A few months ago doing the usual, browsing and what not, I came across a site that entails a lot of beautiful colors and prints where I think it's great for my personal inspiration. As I continue to look back on some of the posts, it turns out the blogger is a famous fashion editor from Japan. I guess you can call her the Asian version of "Lady Gaga". She wears a lot of  endearing pieces with bold colors and prints. She is a watched personality in the Tokyo fashion industry, with a very unique personal style that is chronicled on the street blogs and parlayed into stints on TV and magazine interviews. And because she has this outrageous styling, she has also conducted a number of exclusive interviews with famous designers around the world, including Mrs. Wintour. Yup. Her name is MISHA JANETTE .... Very fresh and different. I appreciate her.. xoxo

Vegas for a beautiful friend who just turned Dirrty Thirty. Great time in Vegas.
